WF360 Evaporative Cooler
This air cooler converts warm air into a cool refreshing breeze whilst at the same time humidifying a room - creating a cool and healthy atmosphere. It works on the principal of evaporative cooling, whereby when water evaporates in air, the air is cooled by the water's lower temperature.
This unit can be used as an air cooler, fan, humidifier and ioniser.
Using the foot casters manoeuvre the cooler to a well ventilated area. Leave the door and a window open if possible in order to create “flow through” ventilation. This will reduce the humidity in the room and allow the moisture to properly evaporate, reducing the overall temperature.
Add water to the tank, through the side water inlet opening. Ice can be added also, which will improve the cooling effect. The tank holds up to six litres of water and will last for up to 12 hours depending on the relative humidity of the room.
Once the water level falls below minimum, the “cool” function will turn off and the audible alarm and warning light will activate.
You can either leave the cooler running continuously or use the timer to control how long it will be in operation for. It can be set to turn itself off in one, two, four or eight hours time.
An ioniser function can be used to replace negative ions in the air that have been destroyed by pollution and electronic equipment. This breakdown of negative ions in the air makes the air feel stale and stuffy. By generating the negative ions again the air feels noticeably clean and fresh, and reduces odours.
A swing function will activate the oscillating louvres, helping to distribute the air in the room.
The unit has low, medium and high fan speeds with the option to turn the cooling, ioniser and swing functions on and off independently. All of which can be controlled with a remote control.
This unit uses a power consumption of 70W to operate with an airflow rate of 26m3/min.
