Effective dehumidifier down to 1°c
This dehumidifier uses desiccant technology to remove moisture from an atmosphere, unlike usual dehumidifiers which use a refrigerant compressor to create a cold surface upon which condensation forms and is collected this dehumidifier simply absorbs the water.
A fan draws in the moist air and the desiccant material soaks up the moisture from the air, which is then heated removing the water. This water is then deposited in the water tank and warm, dry air is blown back into the room, this can also create a pleasant warming affect. A continuous drain hose (not supplied) can be fitted for constant draining.
Unlike normal refrigerant dehumidifiers the amount of water this system removes isn’t affected by the ambient temperature of the room its in. Even in cold rooms down to 1°C it will remain effective.
As this dehumidifier doesn’t have a compressor it is extremely light weight and compact. A built in carry handle and the fact that it weights just 6.5kg makes it easy to move around.
This dehumidifier has 3 fan settings and on its lowest setting you can just make a slight fan noise. The highest of the 3 settings will provide you with a full fan speed for maximum performance making it ideal to use in laundry rooms.
The unit has a built in ioniser which will release negative ions into the atmosphere, this helps improve indoor air quality by removing airborne dust particles, pollen etc.
A timer function will turn the unit off in 2, 4 or 8 hours time.
