Recent Case Study
This cruise line wanted to diffuse a scent in their bar and casino areas and then measure whether it affects the customer's purchasing behaviour.
For a 14 week period in 2006, we diffused a scent called Mojito, which is lime and mint, in the bar and casino.
The control ship sailed the same route, just docked one week later and did not have ambient scenting.
Result – in relation to the control ship;
Casino spending was up 8% ($644,000 pa)
Bar spending up 17.5% ($85,000 pa)
